COCKTAIL CATERING COMPANY HITS THE BIG STAGE IN A BID TO SAVE HOSPITALITY FROM PRACTICES HARMFUL TO THE PLANET!

London, [29 February 2024] – Daniel Vajsabel, the visionary entrepreneur and founder of Meetini, took to the stage on the latest episode of BBC’s Dragons’ Den to talk about his innovative approach to sustainable bartending.

Armed with years of experience in the global hospitality and event industry, Daniel presented a compelling pitch that resonated deeply with the dragons – and is sure to stick in the mind of viewers back home.

Sharing his journey, he described witnessing the staggering waste generated by traditional bar setups, a little-known factor contributing to our climate crisis. This knowledge ignited in Daniel a passion to find more eco-friendly solutions.

Daniel decided to integrate a bar into an electric cargo bicycle, enabling the Meetini team to cycle to and serve cocktails at various events, private hire, corporate gatherings, and festivals. In addition to his fleet of electric bicycle bars, he has also transitioned from reliance on conventional suppliers. Meetini now produces its own range of hand-crafted organic spirits and liqueurs. “At Meetini, we’re committed to revolutionising the way we craft and serve drinks while minimising our environmental footprint,” stated Daniel Vajsabel during his pitch. “I knew there had to be a better way.”

ON DRAGONS’ DEN:

Daniel’s appearance on Dragons’ Den was met with enthusiasm and interest from the dragons – they’ve never heard a pitch like this before! Organic alcohol and sustainability in hospitality is still an unexplored – but important – niche.

Although Daniel’s proposal didn’t secure backing from the dragons his pitch showcased Meetini’s potential to disrupt the industry with environmentally friendly solutions. “Our goal is to provide delicious drinks without harming our planet,” Daniel sums up.

The episode, which aired [29 February 2024], is guaranteed to ignite consumer interest in organic spirits and raise awareness for the damaging hospitality industry. Besides, Daniel’s infectious desire to make a positive impact is inspiring.
